Curling was originally called the roaring game and was played outdoors on frozen ponds, but when played by OiR members it is in the comfortable surroundings of Ayr Ice Rink.
The sessions played are usually of about two hours in duration.
The group would be happy to welcome new members and for those who are beginners, then some coaching can be given from within the group.
Trainers or suitable footwear for ice are required and, of course, warm clothing.
