The OIR Ayr Ukulele Group is a weekly jam session that welcomes players at every level, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. The timing and venue for the sessions has still to be arranged. See contact details below to be kept up to date about this.
We’re all about having fun playing music and singing along with other uke players. It’s very relaxed and friendly, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. All you need to do is bring your ukulele and the OIR Ukulele Songbook of more than 200 songs. You will be given a link to download a pdf version of the songbook to your tablet, smartphone, or other device. If you prefer a printed copy you can print all or part of it yourself. No ukulele? No problem! If you want to just sing along, that’s fine with us.
