Opportunities in Retirement is an organisation for the over 50’s who are currently retired or semi-retired from the workplace. Membership allows entry to groups of your choosing, depending, in some cases, on waiting list availability.

Membership costs £25 for the year, January to December. If you are a new member and join after August, your membership will be valid until the end of the following year. If you select gift aid or add a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Please note, Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer. You must pay more Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year.

You don’t need to look for premises, we’ll do that for you.
You don’t need a constitution, the OiR constitution covers you.
You don’t need to open a bank account, the OiR has one.
You don’t need public liability insurance, the OiR has that in place.
You don’t need a web site, The OiR can create a page for you on the OiR web site.
All you need to provide is a good idea for an activity, along with a few enthusiasts, and we’ll do the rest.
